The film has secured €1.5 million from the Madrid Regional Government and another €1.5 million from Madrid City Council, with financing tied to contractual requirements that Madrid must appear in the final title and feature identifiable regional locations. Originally planned for a spring 2026 shoot, production has now shifted to fall. The $14 million feature will be largely English-language and is expected to feature a high-profile cast, though no actors have been officially confirmed. The project represents Allen's first collaboration with a Spanish production company outside the Mediapro group, following his previous Spain-shot films including Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Rifkin's Festival.

His mother Ellen is smart, sharp, and direct, practical and overextended, often the most grounded person in the room, with a complicated relationship with her own mother and works hard to keep that from shaping her son. Werwulf is an upcoming horror film directed by Robert Eggers, known for his work on "The Witch" and "Nosferatu." Set in 13th-century England, the film delves into the werewolf mythos, featuring period-accurate dialogue with translations for modern audiences. Eggers co-wrote the script with Icelandic poet Sjón, his collaborator on "The Northman."

Zero K is currently shooting in São Paulo, with director Michael Almereyda adapting Don DeLillo's acclaimed science-fiction novel. The film stars Caleb Landry Jones as a young man pulled into the designs of his tech-billionaire father, played by Peter Sarsgaard, who prepares his dying wife for cryonic preservation while his estranged son searches for stability. The cast also includes Andrea Riseborough, Britt Lower, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, and Brazilian actor Selton Mello. The production brings together RT Features, the São Paulo-based company behind I'm Still Here, with New York's Keep Your Head and Oak Street Pictures. Almereyda reunites with cinematographer Sean Price Williams, who previously shot his films Marjorie Prime and Tesla. The project is expected to wrap in early June 2026.
