Lotus

Lotus is an international action thriller heading into pre-production under the first production deal between Hong Kong-based ACT3 and Philippine production company Blackops Studios Asia. The film is directed by Filipino filmmaker Pedring Lopez, who co-wrote the screenplay with Rex Lopez. Cuba Gooding Jr. headlines the cast alongside Australian actor Luke Ford, Irish singer Keith Duffy, and multimedia artist Qymira, with additional roles filled by Cristian Lavin and Brazilian actor Alberto Cowboy. Principal photography is scheduled to run from September through October 2026 in Manila, with additional sequences shooting in Brazil. The production features stunt coordination by Filipino-American choreographer Sonny Sison and cinematography by Noel Teehankee, drawing crew from the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Brazil. The project was introduced to international buyers at the Cannes Film Market as the first of five planned productions under the ACT3-Blackops collaboration.
