Life Is Strange
Project Summary
Life Is Strange is heading into production as a six-episode limited series for Prime Video, adapting the critically acclaimed 2015 video game. The project has assembled a substantial cast led by Tatum Grace Hopkins as Max Caulfield and Maisy Stella as Chloe Price, with recent additions including Tom Cullen, Leisha Hailey, Raúl Castillo, and Owen Teague. Charlie Covell serves as creator, showrunner, and executive producer, with Mackenzie Dohr writing and executive producing. Karyn Kusama will direct the first two episodes under her Familystyle production banner. The series is a co-production between Square Enix, Story Kitchen, LuckyChap Entertainment, and Amazon MGM Studios. Principal photography begins June 29, 2026 in Vancouver, British Columbia, with production scheduled to wrap October 16, 2026. The show follows Max as she discovers her time-manipulation abilities and teams with Chloe to solve a missing person case.
