Paddington 4

Paddington 4 is in early development at Studiocanal, marking the fourth feature film in the family franchise that has generated over $700 million at the global box office. Emmy-winning writers Armando Iannucci and Simon Blackwell, the creative team behind Veep, The Thick of It, and In the Loop, have been confirmed as co-writers on the project. Director Dougal Wilson, who helmed the third film Paddington in Peru, is in negotiations to return. The project was first announced at CinemaCon in April 2026 by Studiocanal CEO Anna Marsh, though no story details have been released. Producer Rosie Alison, who has been with the franchise since its inception, continues in her role. The film is expected to arrive in theaters in 2027 or 2028, coinciding with the franchise's 70th anniversary.
