Use Production List in ChatGPT and Claude
Ask your AI assistant what is filming, who is making it and which companies are attached, and get the answer from the live Production List directory instead of a web search. Every answer links to the production or company page it came from, with the date it was last updated. It is free and needs no account.
Add it to Claude
- In Claude on the web or desktop, open Settings → Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Production List and paste this URL:
https://api.productionlist.com/mcp - Leave sign-in off and save. Then ask Claude a question like the ones below.
Add it to ChatGPT
Search for Production List in ChatGPT's plugin directory and add it. Other assistants that support remote MCP servers can connect to the same URL:

What it can do

Every tool only reads; none can change anything. We record which tool was called and when, never your question or the answer. Details are in the plugin privacy policy.
What it does not do
- It never returns contact details. Production office and crew contacts are on file for Production List members; the assistant will link the page instead.
- Free use has hourly and daily limits. For higher volumes, use the Production List Data API with your own key.
