The Treasure Hunters Club

The Treasure Hunters Club is in early development at Toronto-based Skywild Pictures, which has optioned Tom Ryan's adult murder mystery novel for television adaptation. The story follows three strangers drawn to the fictional coastal town of Maple Bay, where their search for legendary pirate treasure intersects with a series of murders tied to the town's secrets. Skywild's director of scripted Natalie Urquhart cited the book's episodic structure and built-in fanbase as key factors in the acquisition. The project joins Skywild's development slate alongside two other optioned novels. No writer, director, or network has been announced, and the project has not yet been greenlit for production.
