Boot Lake

Boot Lake is an indie thriller marking digital creator Christian Del Grosso's feature directorial debut. The film follows a young woman who returns to her childhood home in a Tennessee lake town after discovering a diary filled with buried memories connected to her family's past. As she pieces together the truth surrounding her mother's death and a newly discovered inheritance, she becomes entangled in a web of manipulation, shifting loyalties, and mounting paranoia. The ensemble cast includes Willow Shields, Nikki Roumel, Sebastian Amoruso, Oscar and Golden Globe nominee Cathy Moriarty, James Patrick Stuart, D. B. Sweeney, Martin Kove, and Alexa PenaVega. Boot Lake emerged from the collaborative "100 Pages Project," in which 100 writers contributed to the screenplay. Production has wrapped, with the film currently in post-production and no release date announced yet.
