A Farewell to Arms is gearing up for production with a refreshed financing and sales structure. Director-writer Michael Winterbottom brings Hemingway's 1929 war classic to the screen with Tom Blyth starring as Frederic Henry, the American ambulance driver who finds love amid the chaos of World War I Italy. The project, originally developed with Fremantle, has found new backing from Tribune Pictures, which is producing and financing alongside Revolution Films. Embankment Films is handling international sales and brought the package to the 2026 Cannes market. Melissa Parmenter produces for Revolution Films, with Winterbottom and Richard Brown executive producing. The production is targeting an early 2027 shoot in Italy, with the Hemingway Estate's full support. Winterbottom has adapted the screenplay himself, aiming to capture what he calls Hemingway's approach of paring a story down to the bare bones.

Alex Edelman's Just for Us is a witty and incisive conversation about antisemitism, algorithm-driven echo chambers, and a Robin Williams loving gorilla who is fluent in sign language. Connecting with the audience in a way that blends the comedic timing of a hilarious stand-up set and the dramatic structure of a particularly nerve-wracking dinner party story, Alex brings the audience along to relive his night at a white nationalist meeting at an apartment in Queens. As he weaves personal details of his Ashkenazi Jewish Bostonian upbringing into his experience empathizing—and maybe falling in love?—with members of this group, he invites and challenges the audience to join him in his own complex and humorous exploration of identity. Jesse Eisenberg is developing an untitled television series for A24, set to be shopped to buyers in the coming weeks. Eisenberg wrote the project and will direct and executive produce, with Peter Rice also serving as executive producer. The series is based on one of Eisenberg's short stories and follows an 18-year-old woman in the fall of 2002 whose beliefs are challenged by new ideas and relationships, exploring what Eisenberg describes as the beginning of the culture wars. Netflix is considered a likely buyer given Rice's recent appointment as the streamer's chief content officer and A24's existing relationship with the platform on shows like Beef. While Rice developed the project under his A24 deal, his new Netflix role means he's expected to have limited hands-on involvement going forward but will retain his executive producer credit. The series marks Eisenberg's return to television following his work on FX's Fleishman Is in Trouble.
