Settling

Settling is a half-hour romantic comedy series in development at Amazon from creators Briana Pozner and Colin Lupe. Justine Lupe, known for her work on Succession and Nobody Wants This, will lead the project as Jessy and serve as executive producer. Will Gluck is attached to direct the pilot. The series follows two characters with distinct commitment issues who cross paths at pivotal life moments—Jessy discovers she has early-onset menopause while Max experiences late-onset isolation panic. The pilot script was originally optioned by Michael Eisner's Tornante Company, which partnered with Olive Bridge Entertainment to bring the project to Amazon. Executive producers include Pozner, Lupe, Colin Lupe, Leigh Kittay, Adam Londy for Tornante, and Will Gluck with Madison Jones for Olive Bridge. Written by Pozner, the series explores whether a relationship can work simply because the people in it feel they cannot afford for it not to.
