Disconnecting Peter

Disconnecting Peter is an independent drama feature written and directed by Christopher Beatty, with Chad Michael Murray attached to star as Peter Ruck. The film explores a family in crisis as Peter's destructive habits threaten the family unit, while his wife Elizabeth fights to hold things together and their daughter Jenna confronts the collapse of her Juilliard aspirations. Eddie Micallef and Benjamin J. Murray are producing the project. Production is scheduled to begin in January 2027 in New Jersey, with Stephanie Holbrook serving as casting director. Beatty previously wrote and directed the psychological thriller Bibi, which holds a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score.
