Monsters: The 1985 Chicago Bears and the Wild Heart of Football is a limited series in development from Sunset Lane Media, adapting Rich Cohen's acclaimed nonfiction book about the team's historic 15-1 season and Super Bowl XX victory. Writer Daniel Kunka and director Steve Pink are attached to the project, which aims to move between the field, locker room, front office, and the city of Chicago to tell the story of a team becoming a phenomenon. The creative team includes Cohen, producer David Beaubaire, Kunka, and Pink—all Chicago natives who experienced the 1985 run firsthand. No network or streamer is currently attached to the project.
