The inaugural production of the Everyman Theatre Company, based in Los Angeles, this piece explores what it means to address and process familial trauma so it is not passed down to the next generation. A Farewell to Arms is gearing up for production with a refreshed financing and sales structure. Bad Blood is a four-part limited series for ITV and ITVX, currently filming in the North East of England. Collateral Romance is a 12-episode romantic comedy co-production between Singapore's Mediacorp and Korean content investment company Blintn, with Bigwave Entertainment serving as the production house. The series marks Mediacorp's second Korean drama collaboration and is supported by Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority. Korean director Kang Min-goo, writer Lee Do-yeon, and chief producer Woo Saejin lead the creative team alongside Singapore executive producer Leong Lye Lin. Come from Away is based on the true story of the time when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland, played host to the world. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar and the recognition that we're all part of a global family. In this production, 12 performers will portray 163 named and unnamed characters, often transforming in an instant.

Corbin & George Need to Score is a feature film about two idiot dudes who cannot seem to get laid but, with some coaching from a good samaritan, that goal just might get accomplished. Filming begins October 3, 2026, with shoot dates throughout October and November 2026, in Los Angeles, CA.

Galeo of the Seawalkers is an animated feature in advanced development from Indonesian writer-director Andara Fembriarto and Studio Amarana. Canada's BetterHalf Films, operating from Toronto and London, has joined as international co-producer on the project, which adapts Fembriarto's novel and comic book of the same name. The fantasy adventure is set in an oceanic world inspired by Indonesian maritime cultures, featuring floating villages, sea-forests, and people who walk on water. The story follows Galeo, whose fear of disappointing his father becomes his greatest obstacle. The project has development support from the Indonesian cultural ministry and Indonesian streaming platform Rangkai is on board for distribution. The producers are targeting a January 2028 production start and are actively seeking additional international co-producers. The project follows two vampire queens, a mother and daughter both over 50 and both addicts, living in a modernist apartment complex in a post-socialist setting where residents mysteriously disappear. Conceived as a response to the male-dominated television landscape in the region, the series developed through the French CNC's Going European fund and won the Female Voices CineLink Award at the 2026 Sarajevo Film Festival. Production companies attached include Sisters and Brother Mitevski and Belgian outfit Entre chien et loup, with Monoo also involved. The team is currently seeking broadcasters and pre-sales opportunities as they move toward production.

Lollipop Chainsaw is a live-action feature film adaptation announced at the Tokyo Game Show in September 2026. The project is being developed as an R-rated action comedy prequel to the 2012 cult hit video game. The production is shooting in Wilmington and New Castle, Delaware, with both crew hiring and principal photography underway.

Emmy winner David Hyde Pierce is returning to NBC with an untitled multi-camera comedy now in development at the network. Written by sitcom veteran Marco Pennette, who co-created Caroline in the City, the project stars Pierce as a man reckoning with the consequences of an unexamined life. Pierce and Pennette serve as executive producers, with Universal Television producing. The project marks Pierce's return to NBC more than two decades after his 11-season run as Dr. Niles Crane on Frasier, for which he won four Emmy Awards. Pennette brings extensive multi-camera comedy experience, having created B Positive for CBS and worked on Mom, Desperate Housewives, and Ugly Betty. The project is looking to join NBC's expanding slate of multi-camera comedies alongside Happy's Place and Newlyweds.

Noah Baumbach is developing an untitled original feature for Warner Bros.' specialty label Clockwork, set to mark his first theatrical release since 2015. The film will see Baumbach return to his indie roots with a story reportedly centered on two college students in New York City. Baumbach will write, direct, and produce the project, with David Heyman and Margot Robbie's LuckyChap Entertainment producing alongside him. The project is part of a three-year first-look deal between Baumbach and Warner Bros. that begins in 2027. Production is expected to start next year, with Clockwork planning a wide theatrical release. The collaboration reunites Baumbach with the studio after his success co-writing the blockbuster Barbie with partner Greta Gerwig.

An untitled documentary on Whoopi Goldberg is currently in production from Imagine Documentaries and Message Pictures in association with One Hoe Productions. Director Geeta Gandbhir helms the project, which expands on themes from Goldberg's autobiography Bits and Pieces: My Mother, My Brother and Me. The film captures Goldberg today through observational verité as she reimagines her groundbreaking 1984 Broadway debut one-woman show The Whoopi Monologues for Lincoln Center, balancing work with her producing partner of more than 30 years Tom Leonardis, developing new theater projects, and spending time with family. Portions of the documentary will also follow Goldberg in Italy, where she maintains a quieter parallel life. The project draws from archival tapes, performance footage, and personal materials to trace the EGOT winner's rise from Caryn Elaine Johnson to one of entertainment's most recognizable figures. Producers include Sara Bernstein, Tom Leonardis, Geeta Gandbhir, Alisa Payne, Meredith Kaulfers, Sam Pollard, and Justin Wilkes, with Brian Grazer and Ron Howard serving as executive producers.

Vermillion returns to the French Revolution era with director Jon Amiel at the helm of this feature adaptation of Joel Gross's play Marie Antoinette: The Color of Flesh. The film follows Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun, a lower-middle-class portrait painter who navigates her way into the royal court of Versailles, ultimately forging a deep friendship with Queen Marie Antoinette. Isabella Rossellini plays Madame de Noailles, an aristocrat devoted to the Queen, while Emma Laird takes on the lead role of Vigée Le Brun and Millicent Simmonds rounds out the cast. The production is being lead-produced by Austria's Katharina Magdalena alongside Academy Award-winning producer Barrie M. Osborne, with European co-production partners including Germany's Odeon Fiction, Zephyr Films in the UK, and JewelLabs Pictures in Austria. Principal photography is planned for the first quarter of 2027 across Austria, Germany, and France, pending final casting confirmation. The project is currently being shopped at Cannes without a sales agent finalized.

We Are Your Pets is a family comedy pitch that Universal Pictures has preemptively acquired, with Cameron Ali Fay attached to write the screenplay. Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment is aboard to produce the project, which Fay originally brought to the company before it was set up at Universal. Erik Baiers, Senior EVP Production Development, is overseeing for the studio. While plot details remain confidential, the project marks another collaboration between Fay and Universal following his 2023 directorial debut Maybe It's You. The film is currently in the early development phase as Fay works on the script.

He is curious, sensitive, and deeply attuned to the emotional undercurrents of his family as he tries to make sense of the past. His mother Ellen is smart, sharp, and direct, practical and overextended, often the most grounded person in the room, with a complicated relationship with her own mother and works hard to keep that from shaping her son. This is a regional premiere production by GableStage in Miami, FL, directed by Stuart Meltzer with Bari Newport as Artistic Director.

Whitney: A Celebration of Whitney Houston is a mainstage concert show debuting onboard Norwegian Cruise Line's newest vessel, the Norwegian Aura. The show is a concert/Las Vegas residency-style experience centered around Whitney Houston's vast musical legacy, following in the footsteps of Revolution: A Celebration of Prince on the Norwegian Aqua and Elton: A Celebration of Elton John on the Norwegian Luna. Other mainstage productions onboard include Illuminox and Lunatique: Pop Circus. Rehearsals take place in Tampa, FL, with the ship embarking from Venice, Italy, and returning to Miami. The production opens February 21, 2027, with an estimated closing approximately six months after boarding.
