Project Summary
McLeod's Daughters is returning to Australian screens as a Stan Original series, 25 years after the Nine Network drama first premiered. The revival continues the story of strong, resilient women managing life on the land at Drovers Run in South Australia, balancing the challenges of cattle ranching with finding love and connection in the modern world. Werner Film Productions, backed by BBC Studios, is producing the series, building on the foundation created by Posie Graeme-Evans. The project was announced at Stan's 2026 upfronts as part of the streamer's expanding Australian drama slate. The original series ran for eight seasons and 224 episodes from 2001 to 2009, becoming one of Australia's most beloved dramas.
