Project Summary
Police Australia is a six-part observational documentary series currently in production for Nine Network. Developed and cast by Michael McDermott at Melbourne-based production company WTFN, the series has embedded a production team with the Western Australia Police Force to capture frontline policing work. The series follows officers through general duties, organised crime investigations, and special operations, while revealing the people behind the badge. Police Australia extends WTFN's successful slate of emergency-services programming for Nine, joining established series Emergency and Paramedics. The series is scheduled to air in 2027 and will also appear on Real Emergency, the FAST channel operated as a joint venture between WTFN and Nine.
