Project Summary
Lunar Colony is a sci-fi thriller that director Roel Reiné has signed on to helm for Centerboro Productions, Sintered Steel Productions, and Convoke Media. Set in 2060, nearly three decades after humanity established a permanent lunar civilization called Terra 2. 0, the film follows Tiara and Josh, two young people raised on opposite sides of the Earth-Moon divide whose romance challenges political loyalties and family expectations as Earth grows increasingly dependent on the colony's resources. Cerise Fukuji penned the script, inspired by NASA's Artemis program. The production is targeting a 2027 start date, with principal casting currently underway. Reiné, known for directing episodes of Halo and Marvel's Inhumans, brings his experience with futuristic space worlds to this character-driven story.
