Project Summary
Tommy & Me is a biographical sports drama in development at Skydance Sports, exploring the life and career of legendary Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda. Oscar winner Robert De Niro is in negotiations to portray Lasorda, who led the Dodgers to two World Series championships during his two-decade tenure from 1976 to 1996. Reid Carolin, who co-directed Dog, is set to direct from a screenplay he co-wrote with George Gallo and Cambron Clark. The project is being produced by Skydance Sports' Jesse Sisgold, Jason T. Reed, and Sandino Moya-Smith, alongside Mandalay Pictures' Peter Gube, Intuition Productions' Keri Selig and Diane Galardi, and Free Association's Reid Carolin and Garret Livetz. Paramount Pictures is expected to distribute through its partnership with Skydance Sports.
