Pendle 1612

Pendle 1612 is a British horror feature entering principal photography in Lancashire later this month. Written and directed by twin filmmakers Liam Bashford and Kyle Bashford, the docu-horror follows three young women—Amy, Hannah, and Meg—whose documentary about a missing person leads them into the isolated landscape of Pendle Hill, site of the notorious 1612 witch trials that resulted in ten hangings. Maddie Evans leads the cast alongside Gemma Laurie and newcomer Ella Moss. The production is being produced by Eleven Eleven Pictures and will shoot on location in the heart of Pendle in Lancashire, with the Bashford brothers bringing the project back to their home region. Rather than recreating the historical events, the film explores how the past lingers in the present through a contemporary mystery lens.
