Out on a Limb

Out on a Limb is an indie romantic comedy that has wrapped principal photography in New York. Writer-director Evan Oppenheimer helmed the production, which stars Jake Horowitz and Alice Nokes in the lead roles, with Alfred Molina, Gaten Matarazzo, Lorraine Toussaint, and Samuel Arnold in supporting parts. The film is produced by Edward Schmidt, Jay Zellman, and Alessandro Penazzi under Ankle Deep LLC. Oppenheimer, a New York-based filmmaker whose career spans over two decades, has directed nine indie features including Peas and Carrots in 2024. The production shot entirely in New York, with Oppenheimer noting his love for telling New York stories. The project now moves into post-production.
