Project Summary
Obey is a horror feature from Sophie Kargman, the director behind the TIFF-premiering thriller Susie Searches. KJ Apa and Nadia Parkes are attached to lead, working from a screenplay by Ryan Farhoudi. The project is a co-production between Waypoint Entertainment's horror label Cweature Features and Spooky Pictures, the genre outfit behind Late Night with the Devil and Hokum. Sony's Screen Gems has secured distribution rights. Producing are Ken Kao, Josh Rosenbaum, and Emily Cheung for Waypoint, alongside Steven Schneider, Roy Lee, and Simmy Wolf from Spooky Pictures, with Alex Lebovici executive producing.
