Project Summary
Dangerous Woman is a six-part psycho-thriller series heading into production for MTV Finland, with pre-sales already secured by TV4 in Sweden. Created by Marika Makaroff of Gutsy Pictures, the series will be directed by Finnish filmmaker Zaida Bergroth, known for the acclaimed feature Tove. The writing team includes BAFTA-winning Kevin Rundle, who previously collaborated with Gutsy on L/Over, alongside playwright Laura Lomas. The story centers on Laura, a successful middle-aged woman caught attacking a visitor at an interior design fair with a fork, triggering the exposure of buried secrets. The production is a co-production between Finland's Gutsy Pictures, Germany's Zeitsprung Pictures, and Sweden's Götafilm, with MTV Finland as the greenlight broadcaster. The series is set to begin production later in 2026.
