Warhammer 40,000

Warhammer 40,000 is advancing in development at Prime Video with horror director Mike Flanagan now attached as writer. Flanagan has completed initial story outlines and is moving toward scripting the project, which Henry Cavill continues to executive produce and star in alongside production companies Vertigo Entertainment and United Artists. The franchise deal encompasses both film and television adaptations of the Games Workshop property, which depicts a grim future where humanity's galactic empire faces threats from traitors, alien forces, and malevolent gods. Games Workshop CEO Kevin Rountree confirmed the project remains a long-term partnership with Amazon that will take years to bring to market, with Cavill remaining closely involved in shepherding the cinematic universe from development through production.
