Games Workshop Group PLC (LSE: GAW) is a British public company and the world's largest and most successful tabletop miniature wargames manufacturer, headquartered in Lenton, Nottingham, England. Founded in 1975, the company is best known for its Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar franchises, which it designs, manufactures, retails, and distributes globally across hundreds of owned stores and over 5,000 independent retailers. In December 2024, Games Workshop entered the FTSE 100 Index, and has aggressively expanded into entertainment through its Warhammer+ streaming service (launched 2021) and a landmark exclusive deal with Amazon Studios for Warhammer 40,000 film and television adaptations starring and executive produced by Henry Cavill.
