Project Summary
Scarlet Morning is an Amazon MGM Studios feature film in development, adapting ND Stevenson's 2025 fantasy novel of the same name. Kate Herron, known for directing the first season of Loki, is attached to direct and produce through her newly formed Bag of Rats banner. Herron is co-writing the screenplay with Kari Granlund. The producing team includes Roy Lee for Vertigo Entertainment, Darlene Caamaño Loquet for Oh My Darlin' Entertainment, and Aubrey Davis for Bag of Rats. Jakob Pollack and Kari Granlund are executive producing. The story follows two orphans who, restless after years of waiting for their parents to return, join an eccentric pirate crew on a journey to help save the land known as Dickerson's Sea. This marks the first project for Herron's Bag of Rats production company and the first feature for Oh My Darlin' Entertainment.
