Something We Said

Something We Said is a feature film adaptation of Elizabeth Stordeur Pryor's memoir of the same name, chronicling her decades-long journey of coming to know her father, comedian Richard Pryor. Latigo Films and Inaugural Entertainment have acquired rights to the recently published Simon & Schuster memoir, with producers David Lipper, Robert A. Daly Jr. , Elizabeth Pryor, and Julie Merson attached. The project explores Richard Pryor's groundbreaking impact on American comedy alongside the personal toll his career took on his family. The production companies expect to announce a screenwriter and director attachment in the near term. Daly and Elizabeth Stordeur Pryor share a longstanding personal connection, having grown up together on the west side of Los Angeles.
