Julie Merson is an award-winning producer and senior entertainment executive with over 20 years of experience developing, packaging, selling, and producing television. She has collaborated with major production partners including Dwayne Johnson's 7 Bucks, Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way, LeBron James' Springhill Entertainment, Marc Platt Productions, Jessica Biel's Iron Ocean Films, and Blumhouse Productions, producing content for Netflix, E!, TLC, Lifetime, Bravo, MTV, VH1, A&E, Discovery, YouTube Originals, and PBS. Most recently she served as VP/Head of Television at SoulPancake (Rainn Wilson/Participant Media), and previously as VP of Development & Current Programming at 44 Blue Productions, where she won a GLAAD Award for STRUT and an Environmental Media Award for Kid Correspondent. She is currently producing the feature film PARKIE (to be directed by Niall Johnson), editing Elizabeth Pryor's memoir for Simon & Schuster (2026), and developing TV adaptations of two memoirs including one by Madeleine Smithberg (creator/showrunner of The Daily Show).
