Project Summary
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is extending its run on Disney+, with showrunner and creator Jeff Trammell confirming at New York Comic Con that Marvel Animation is actively developing seasons 3 and 4 of the animated series. The show, produced by Marvel Studios Animation, reimagines Peter Parker's early days as Spider-Man in an alternate MCU timeline. Season 2 is set to premiere January 13, 2027, featuring characters including Eddie Brock/Venom and Nico Minoru. The early greenlight for multiple future seasons reflects Marvel's strategy to make the series an annual release alongside X-Men '97. With writers already at work and the production pipeline ramping up, the series represents ongoing opportunities across animation, voice talent, and post-production departments.
