Marvel Animation

Marvel Animation (formally Marvel Animation Inc., also known as Marvel Studios Animation) is an American animation production company and division of Marvel Studios, itself a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. Incorporated on January 25, 2008, the studio develops and produces animated series and shorts primarily set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for Disney+, Disney Jr., and other platforms. Since 2024, the 'Marvel Animation' banner is the official trade name used by Marvel Studios for all its animated output, encompassing acclaimed titles such as What If...?, X-Men '97, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, I Am Groot, Eyes of Wakanda, and Marvel Zombies. The studio outsources animation production to partner studios worldwide while retaining in-house creative and executive oversight.
