Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch

Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch is an animated series in development at Amazon MGM Studios, spinning off from the successful Warhammer 40,000 episode of Prime Video's Secret Level anthology. The series centers on the Deathwatch, an elite group of Space Marines drawn from different chapters to hunt extraterrestrial threats in the grim darkness of the 41st Millennium. Dave Wilson, who directed the original Secret Level episode, returns as co-creator and director alongside Emmy-nominated writer John Orloff, known for Band of Brothers and Masters of the Air. Blur Studios, the animation house behind Love, Death + Robots, will produce the animation. Henry Cavill serves as executive producer, continuing his involvement with the broader Warhammer 40,000 franchise at Amazon. The series was officially confirmed in Games Workshop's annual report in July 2026 and announced by Amazon MGM Studios in early August 2026. No premiere date has been set, though the project benefits from an existing visual pipeline established through Secret Level.
