Dave Wilson is an American film and television editor, producer, and director specializing in unscripted competition, documentary, and independent narrative content. He is best known for editing NBC's long-running competition series The Voice (2011–2018, 352 episodes) and the CNN/TNT docuseries Chasing the Cure (2019). Through his production banner Automata Films, Wilson produces and directs original content including the short film The Reaper (2019), the series Finish Line with Amber Balcaen, and the feature documentary The Man You Don't Know (2024). He has multiple projects in various stages of development and post-production, including Cruising with Courtney, Special Delivery, Love Letters, and Through the Lens.
