Project Summary
The Surgeon is an action thriller starring Michelle Yeoh as a retired surgeon who turns her medical precision into a deadly weapon when she's kidnapped and coerced into performing surgery. Written and directed by Roshan Sethi, a practicing physician and co-creator of The Resident, the project reunites John Wick producers Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee of Thunder Road with Patrick Wachsberger's 193, which launched sales at the 2025 Cannes market. The film is being produced by Thunder Road alongside NeoText, Lit Entertainment, and Untravelled Worlds, with the team hoping to launch a potential franchise.
