Basil William Iwanyk (born January 4, 1970, Teaneck, NJ) is an American film producer and founder of Thunder Road Films, one of Hollywood's most commercially successful independent production banners, whose films have collectively grossed over $4.1 billion worldwide. After earning a BA in Political Science from Villanova University and spending six years as a creative executive at Warner Bros., he founded Thunder Road in 2000 and built it into a franchise powerhouse best known for the John Wick series, Sicario, The Town, and Greenland. In May 2025, he co-founded Southland Stories with Charlamagne Tha God and Karen Kinney, and formed a joint development venture with Untravelled Worlds (Steve Klinsky); he is currently producing John Wick: Chapter 5, an animated John Wick prequel, the Caine spinoff, and The Devil's Mouth for Amazon MGM Studios.
