Stoic Ridge

Stoic Ridge is in development at Peacock as an English-language adaptation of the French-Canadian crime drama Le Clan. The series follows Jacob Morris, a reformed criminal who has spent years in witness protection rebuilding his life as a rancher, husband, and father in a small New Mexico town. When his crime boss father and brother are released from prison, his two worlds collide, forcing him to protect his new family from the one he once betrayed. Robert Munic, who created and launched Power Book IV: Force for Starz, will write and showrun the project. Executive producers include Jillian Share, Jen Gorton, Guy Stodel, and Joanne Forgues. The series is being developed through UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, in partnership with Teton Ridge Entertainment, a TWG Global-owned studio focused on Americana storytelling. The modern Western explores themes of loyalty, betrayal, and the struggle to escape the past.
