Another Story About My Son

Another Story About My Son marks the directorial debut of acclaimed Romanian cinematographer Adrian Silișteanu. The Romanian-Bulgarian coproduction follows a Roma community leader who confronts his past by assisting a film crew in recreating the ethnic conflict that took his son's life. Produced by Iriana Adnana through Domestic Film and Maya Vitkova Kosev of Viktoria World Sales and Distribution, the project has backing from both the Romanian Film Centre and the Bulgarian National Film Center. The film received the CNC Moldova Award at the 2026 Transilvania International Film Festival industry program, where it was presented at the Transilvania Pitch Stop forum. Silișteanu, known for his cinematography work on Romanian features including Hooked and Somewhere in Palilula, brings his directorial vision to this intimate exploration of grief, memory and reconciliation within Roma communities.
