Romanian Film Centre

The Romanian Film Centre (CNC – Centrul Național al Cinematografiei) is the Romanian government's national film agency, operating as a specialised body of central public administration under the coordination of the Ministry of Culture. It administers the national Cinema Fund and offers financial support — including reimbursable credits and non-reimbursable grants — to Romanian and Romanian minority co-productions across the full value chain from development to distribution. The Centre also finances film festivals, workshops, educational programmes, and book publishing both within Romania and internationally, and is fully responsible for developing national regulations for the film sector.
