Viktoria World Sales and Distribution

Viktoria World Sales and Distribution is the international sales arm of Viktoria Films, a Bulgarian boutique production company founded in 2009 by writer-director-producer Maya Vitkova. Co-owned by Maya Vitkova and Emil Vitkov, the entity was formed specifically to handle worldwide sales of the critically acclaimed 2014 Bulgarian-Romanian drama Viktoria — the first Bulgarian feature ever selected in competition at the Sundance Film Festival. Regional distribution is delegated to third-party partners: Big World Pictures (Jonathan Howell) for the USA, and Hum! Hum! Films (Alexandre Tchernookov) for Europe and Canada; the parent company, Viktoria Films, retains rights for the rest of the world and new projects such as the upcoming feature Afrika.
