Anne Rice's Queen of the Damned

Anne Rice's Queen of the Damned marks the fourth season of AMC's acclaimed Interview with the Vampire series, following the recent conclusion of The Vampire Lestat. Announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, the new season adapts Rice's third Vampire Chronicles novel and centers on Akasha, the progenitor of all vampires, portrayed by Sheila Atim. Hannah Moscovitch takes over as showrunner from Rolin Jones, who remains as executive producer alongside Mark Johnson. The series is produced by AMC Studios, Gran Via Productions, and Dwight Street Book Club. With the renewal coming just days after season three's finale, the production is in early development with no filming schedule or locations announced yet. The series continues to stream on AMC+ and AMC.
