Hannah Moscovitch (born June 5, 1978, Ottawa, Ontario) is one of Canada's most acclaimed playwrights and television writers, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She has written sixteen widely produced plays and earned the Governor General's Literary Award (2021), the Trillium Book Award (2014), and the Windham-Campbell Prize (2016), becoming the first Canadian woman to win the latter. In television, she served as Co-Creator, Executive Producer, and Head Writer of Little Bird (Crave/APTN, 2023), and as Writer and Co-Executive Producer on all three seasons of AMC's Interview with the Vampire / The Vampire Lestat, before being announced as Showrunner of the upcoming Season 4, Anne Rice's Queen of the Damned (July 2026).
