Hannah Moscovitch (born June 5, 1978, Ottawa, Ontario) is one of Canada's most acclaimed playwrights and television writers, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her sixteen plays have been widely produced at home and abroad, earning the Governor General's Literary Award (2021), the Trillium Book Award (2014), and the Windham-Campbell Prize (2016). In television, she served as Co-Creator, Executive Producer, and Head Writer of Little Bird (Crave/APTN, 2023) and as writer and Co-Executive Producer on all three seasons of AMC's Interview with the Vampire / The Vampire Lestat. As of July 24, 2026, she was announced as showrunner of the upcoming Season 4, Anne Rice's Queen of the Damned.
