Mark Johnson (born December 27, 1945, Washington D.C.) is an Academy Award- and Emmy-winning American film and television producer based in Santa Monica, California. He won the Best Picture Oscar for Rain Man (1988) and earned a second Best Picture nomination for The Holdovers (2023), both produced under his Gran Via Productions banner, which he founded in 1994 and serves as President/CEO. On television, he has been executive producer of the Emmy-winning Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and AMC's Anne Rice universe — Interview with the Vampire, Mayfair Witches, and Talamasca — under a long-running first-look deal with AMC Studios, which he renewed in 2025. He is currently in post-production on the indie feature Hope/Esperanza, shot on location in Costa Rica.
