Project Summary
Armando Iannucci returns to feature filmmaking with an untitled conspiracy thriller that brings together James McAvoy, Alicia Vikander, and Taron Egerton. The project marks Iannucci's first film since 2019's The Personal History of David Copperfield and represents his first collaboration with all three lead actors. Iannucci wrote and is set to direct, reuniting with longtime producer Kevin Loader, whose production company Free Range Films is behind the project. FilmNation Entertainment and UTA are handling international sales as the package heads to the American Film Market in November 2026. Plot details remain under wraps beyond the conspiracy thriller genre designation. The project continues Iannucci's relationship with FilmNation, which previously worked with him and Loader on David Copperfield.
