Free Range Films

Free Range Films is a London-based independent feature film production company founded in 1995 by producer Kevin Loader and director Roger Michell. The company has produced a string of critically acclaimed British films including The Death of Stalin, The Lady in the Van, My Cousin Rachel, Hyde Park on Hudson, Venus, and The Mother, with strong ties to filmmakers such as Nicholas Hytner, Armando Iannucci, and the late Roger Michell. Following Michell's death in September 2021, Loader partnered with UK sales outfit Embankment Films (Tim Haslam and Hugo Grumbar) to form umbrella company Free Range Entertainment, through which Free Range Films continues to develop and produce prestige feature films for international distribution.
