Single at the Wedding

Single at the Wedding is a romantic comedy in early development at New Line Cinema with director Kay Cannon attached to rewrite and direct. The project follows Allie, who as the last single one among her friends, makes it her mission to find love at her best friend's wedding. Cannon will collaborate with Eben Russell, creator of the Freeform series Alone Together, on a new pass of Anne Sundell's original screenplay, which Sundell developed alongside Alex Richanbach. Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum, producers behind recent rom-coms Anyone But You and A Family Affair, are producing, with Cannon and Richanbach executive producing. This marks Cannon's first project with New Line and follows her recent work on One Attempt Remaining starring Jennifer Garner and John Cena. No production start date or casting has been announced.
