Joseph Emanuel Roth (born June 13, 1948, New York City) is a veteran American film producer, director, and former studio executive with over five decades in Hollywood. He co-founded Morgan Creek Entertainment (1988) and Caravan Pictures (1992), served as chairman of 20th Century Fox (1989–1993) and Walt Disney Studios (1994–2000), founded Revolution Studios (2000), and co-founded Roth/Kirschenbaum Films (RK Films) in 2007 alongside partner Jeff Kirschenbaum. His producing career spans billion-dollar franchises including Alice in Wonderland, Maleficent, and the Fast & Furious series, as well as a robust Netflix slate encompassing The Gray Man, Hustle, Damsel, Anyone But You, and Jackpot!, with active projects in production including the 13 Going on 30 reboot, Evil Step Sisters, Bulls, Love Love, Shutout, and The Initiative.
