LALA IRL

LALA IRL is a live-action scripted comedy series in development at Disney Channel and Disney+, starring TikTok phenomenon Lala Sadii in a fictionalized version of her own story. The project comes from Peter Paige, co-creator of The Fosters and Good Trouble, who serves as writer, director, and executive producer. Endemol Shine North America is producing, with Sharon Levy and Lisa Fahrenholt attached as executive producers alongside Paige, Sadii, Lauren Gellert, and Billy Mann. The series promises a behind-the-screens look at a teenage social media superstar balancing viral fame with the everyday challenges of high school life, jealous classmates, curious friends, concerned siblings, and strict parents. With Sadii's 25. 7 million TikTok followers and Disney's continued investment in creator-led content, the project represents the platform's strategy of developing series around established digital personalities.
