Hostel

Hostel is returning as a theatrical feature film, with Paul Giamatti attached to star and franchise creator Eli Roth set to write and direct. The project was originally developed as a TV series for Peacock, but after the streamer passed on it, the team is now redeveloping it as a modern-day theatrical reinvention of the original film's premise. Fifth Season is producing, with Chris Briggs and Mike Fleiss, who worked on all the original Hostel films, returning as executive producers. Giamatti is expected to play a key role, though character details remain under wraps. The project marks a reunion for Giamatti and Roth, who first met during production of the original Hostel in Prague. The film is currently in early development with no production dates or locations announced yet.
