Funny Woman (Season 2)

In series one, Barbara from Blackpool fulfills her dream, becoming TV comedy star Sophie Straw. In series two, Sophie realizes that fame is fleeting and that having a voice doesn't guarantee it will be heard. Tired of being the comedic sidekick in traditional comedy shows, she ventures into arthouse cinema, only to discover it's not as progressive as she hoped. Undaunted, Sophie decides to create her own comedy show, where she can share authentic, messy, and hilarious stories. She's found her voice and won't let anyone silence it, learning that words hold true power.
