Potboiler Productions is an award-winning, London-based independent film and television production company co-founded in 2000 by Gail Egan and the late Simon Channing Williams, and joined in 2009 by producing partner Andrea Calderwood (formerly of Slate Films). Together the partners have produced over 80 international, award-winning feature films and TV series, including Oscar and BAFTA-winning The Last King of Scotland and The Constant Gardener, and Emmy-winning HBO series Generation Kill. The company works across both film and television, also operating a production servicing arm for UK-based international projects, with Lionsgate UK holding a stake in its television arm since 2017.
