Project Summary
I'll Get By is a World War II feature film beginning production at the end of October 2026 in England. Written and directed by Brandon Ashplant, the project follows a group of American airmen on a bombing mission over occupied France. Josh Bolt and Louis Ashbourne Serkis lead the ensemble cast, with Cameron Ashplant, Spike White, Robert Rhodes, and Reggie McHale in supporting roles. Production begins in Norwich, England, before moving to Guernsey, which will stand in for wartime Normandy. The filmmakers are employing LED Volume technology with a physical B-17 cockpit and fuselage suspended on a virtual production soundstage. Andrew Butler serves as director of photography. Golden Goat Films, Hex Pictures, and Ephor Pictures are producing, with support from Guernsey Arts, the Institute of Screen Arts Guernsey, and Norfolk Screen.
