Project Summary
20th Century Studios has hired Aaron Guzikowski to write a new Alien film that will connect to Ridley Scott's Prometheus and Alien: Covenant rather than serving as a sequel to 2024's Alien: Romulus. Guzikowski, known for writing Denis Villeneuve's Prisoners and creating the HBO Max series Raised by Wolves, reunites with Scott, who will produce alongside Michael Pruss through Scott Free Productions. The project is described as being in very early development, with no director currently attached. Reports suggest the film may continue the story of the android David, played by Michael Fassbender in the previous films, though Fassbender is not yet attached to the project. J. R. Young is overseeing development for 20th Century Studios.
