Project Summary
A new Alien feature is in very early development at 20th Century Studios, with screenwriter Aaron Guzikowski crafting the script. Guzikowski, best known for writing Denis Villeneuve's Prisoners and creating the HBO Max sci-fi series Raised by Wolves, reunites with Ridley Scott, who will produce alongside Michael Pruss through their Scott Free Productions banner. Scott executive produced and directed episodes of Raised by Wolves. The project is being overseen at the studio by J. R. Young. While plot details remain under wraps, multiple sources suggest the film may connect to Scott's Prometheus and Alien: Covenant rather than following 2024's Alien: Romulus. No director is currently attached, and the project is described as being in very early development with no production timeline announced.
