Project Summary
A new Alien feature is in early development at 20th Century Studios, reuniting writer Aaron Guzikowski with producer Ridley Scott. Guzikowski, known for writing Denis Villeneuve's Prisoners and creating the HBO Max series Raised by Wolves, has been tapped to pen the screenplay. Scott is producing alongside Michael Pruss through their Scott Free banner, the same production company behind Raised by Wolves. The project is not a sequel to 2024's Alien: Romulus, and instead is reported to connect to Scott's earlier Prometheus and Alien: Covenant films. No director is currently attached, and plot details remain under wraps. J. R. Young is overseeing the project for the studio.
